What Does The Fox Say?
– The opening video showcased the awkward love triangle between Cedric Alexander, his girlfriend Alicia Fox and the cunningly creepy Noam Dar. You see, Dar has been infatuated with Fox and likes to extend her last name with his Scottish accent so it sounds like a different word. We literally think this is the main reason for the feud. Anyways, Dar continued his pursuance of Fox as he dedicated matches to her and got turned on by her slaps to his face. Fox also negatively affected Alexander’s career, as she has distracted him and cost him two matches. Things took a twist on last night’s Raw when she kissed Dar to prove a point Alexander made that Dar couldn’t handle a real woman. Dar seemed to love it though. Here we were, with the two set to battle it out. Would this be the ultimate payoff or would Fox eventually call Dar her new lover?

The Neville System
– The opening video highlighted last week’s WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann-Neville main event. Since his rabid heel turn, Neville has aggressively pursued the Title and christened himself the “King Of The Cruiserweights.” We got a more serious Swann, but he was outdone by the angered Neville. Nice production job as we heard the Brit’s promo soundbites from his cocky sit-down interview. Neville downed the Champ with an impactful superplex and assumed to be in line for a future shot.

Champion’s Address
– The opening video reminded us of the huge brawl to end last week’s show when NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura returned to cast vengeance upon Samoa Joe, who purposely sidelined him in an attempt to get back the NXT Championship. To the point where he annihilated various talent in demand of either Nakamura or the Title from NXT General Manager William Regal, Joe had this coming to him. A smart way to drag out television time.

The Wait Is Finally Over
– At the time Hideo Itami got injured, he was arguably in the running for an NXT Championship reign. A year and a half later, he was back from the shoulder injury and possessed a fury of self-justice and redemption. The opener between Itami and Sean Maluta was all about Itami’s return while at the same time let Maluta soak in the NXT spotlight, since he came over from the Cruiserweight Classic. Also liked that the camera panned to Zack Sabre Jr., Tony Nese and Drew Gulak in the crowd to hype the CWC, as they were each First Round victors. Maluta wasn’t a complete afterthought, as she showed off some fierce kicks, but the purpose was obvious from the get-go and Itami didn’t miss a beat. Commentary smartly brought up that his career pre-injury had mirrored Finn Balor’s and was on route to Championship contention before he was sidelined possibly by Kevin Owens. Itami’s signature running knee finisher ended it.
