WWE Survivor Series 2012 Reaction

WWE Survivor Series 2012By Nicholas Jason Lopez

It seems as if the internet may have bursted at the conclusion of last night’s World Title match.

In case you’re curious, three men- Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns- attacked Ryback ruthlessly, similar to Nexus’ original debut and powerbombed him through the announce table.

CM Punk picked up the scraps, retained his Title and today marks the one-year point of his reign.

Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns are all familiar to NXT viewers and how WWE will have them explain their actions should make for good television.

It’s fortunate that there was this to boil over from because besides for a few shiny spots, this was a mostly forgettable show.

WWE Hell In A Cell 2012 Reaction

WWE Hell In A Cell 2012

By Nicholas Jason Lopez

Hell in a Cell will be best remembered as the night Ryback got screwed by the referee.

Also shockingly enough, it will be remembered for Sheamus and The Big Show.

The rest wasn’t all that special despite some quality matches.

There are only three weeks until Survivor Series (as opposed to Hell in a Cell’s six-week build), so things will pick up fast.

When Hell in a cell was said and done, it wasn’t as newsworthy as you’d expect, but some matches delivered.

WWE Payback 2016 Reaction

By Nicholas Jason Lopez

Payback was christened as the “first pay-per-view of a New Era,” and to a degree, this was true.

With beloved Shane McMahon running Raw lately, we saw an array of main roster debuts (Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, The Vaudevillains, Enzo/Cass), big returns (Sami Zayn, Cesaro) and a main event scene you wouldn’t expect (AJ Styles, Roman Reigns).

One could argue that masking new feuds and NXT call-ups as a “new era” is a tad bit deceiving since that kind of thing happens every year.

However, thanks to the debuts of Karl Anderson/Luke Gallows and having them inserted into the Reigns-Styles storyline, the prominence of the Zayn-Kevin Owens feud, a tag team tournament to determine #1 contender’s, recent storylines and an amped-up Chicago crowd were bound to make this a night to remember.

Contentious Canucks Vs. Ska Madness

– Heading off Raw’s biggest moment with AJ Styles’ New Japan buddies in Karl Anderson/Luke Gallows attacking WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and Styles denying any prior knowledge of the attack, we came into this show knowing that Styles would be a guest on Miz TV and if anybody knows WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, he’d do his best to get answers. The opening video highlighted all this fun.

WWE WrestleMania 32 Reaction

Branded as a “seven-hour spectacle” that actually went a half hour longer, this WrestleMania definitely provided the entertainment factor coming from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas with several noteworthy moments – a broken WWE event attendance record, both Shane McMahon and The Rock’s return, Shaquille O’Neal, the rebirth of the WWE Women’s Championship (retirement of the Divas Championship) to name some.

As it goes with most Manias, some stars were created, but other matches gave us unspectacular finishes and questionable booking decisions.

More on that below.
