*The Following Press Release Was Issued By IWTV*

UNCHARTED TERRITORY FEATURES BIG DEBUTS, RETURNS AND THOMAS SANTELL AND NICK GAGE TEAMING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Episode Fifteen of Beyond Wrestling‘s weekly series Uncharted Territory streams live on IWTV.LIVE TONIGHT (7/10) at 8pm EDT. This week’s show includes multiple former Discovery Gauntlet entrants returning, as well as several major debuts. In addition to the in ring action, Beyond has announced that another Americanrana 19 match will be announced live on the broadcast. Let’s take a look at what we know so far.

  • Two weeks ago Thomas Santell saved Nick Gage from an attack at the hands of Richard Holliday and Kenn Doane. Last week Gage returned the favor, coming to Santell’s aid and thwarting the assault of Cam Zagami, Richard Holliday and Christian Casanova. This week Santell and Gage team up for the first time ever!
  • Impact Wrestling star and Freelance Wrestling World Champion “All Ego” Ethan Page makes his Uncharted Territory debut against one of Beyond Wrestling’s top talents Josh Briggs.
  • Kris Statlander has struggled to get back to her winning ways since losing the IWTV Championship back to Orange Cassidy in June. TONIGHT she addresses her future in Beyond Wrestling.
  • Since coming back to Beyond Wrestling Chuck O’Neil has spent the bulk of his time blindsiding and bullying people with impunity. But in recent weeks Wheeler YUTA has put a stop to this and has been the one man who seems to be able to block O’Neil’s technically precise and dangerous armbar. This week both of them will be in singles action taking on former Discovery Gauntlet entrants as O’Neil battles fan favorite “Big Bacon” Brad Hollister, while YUTA takes on the impressive DL Hurst.
  • Speaking of The Discovery Gauntlet, Christian Casanova is back for the fourth straight week. Will he be able to make it five, or will a new competitor enter the fray, pick up the win and move on?
  • Bear Country have been on a rampage since making their Beyond debuts back at Uncharted Territory, Episode Five. TONIGHT they face off against the debuting tandem of Jimmy Lloyd and KTB in a match that is sure to be a fight.

Uncharted Territory streams live every Wednesday at 8PM EDT / 5PM PDT from Worcester, Massachusetts! Watch it live on IWTV as part of your monthly subscription!

First Look: The NEW IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship pays tribute to Promotions that host Defenses

*The Following Press Release Was Issued By IWTV*

In a relatively brief amount of time, the IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship has emerged as a unifying force on the indie wrestling scene. Though the championship has only been around for a year and a half, in that time it has been defended 37 times in 15 promotions, in 13 different states, against dozens of different opponents.

Three wrestlers have held the IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship:

  1. Jonathan Gresham: 126 Days, 7 Defenses
  2. Tracy Williams: 309 Days, 17 Defenses
  3. Orange Cassidy: Current Champion, 13 Defenses

All of them have been excellent representatives of independent wrestling and their combined efforts have served to make the IWTV Championship what it is today.

Recently IWTV debuted a new title design for the Independent Wrestling Championship. This new design honors and reflects the history of the championship, as promotions that have hosted championship defenses are featured on plates affixed to the title. New plates will continue to be added as defenses are made in new places, making the championship an evolving monument to its own history.

Powerbomb.TV Break The Barrier 2017 Reaction

By Nicholas Jason Lopez

May 15, 1999 was a historical day for independent wrestling as the former ECW Arena hosted an event called “Break The Barrier.”

BTB I was put together by Al Isaacs, Remy Arteaga and Barbi Bistrowitz of “Scoopswrestling.com,” as a way to showcase the best independent wrestlers as the card represented 12 different promotions.

Talent like “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush, Lou Marconi, Joey Matthews, Christian York and Nick Gage appeared and made names for themselves.

History repeated itself this year on Jun. 11 in Old Forge, PA., as Powerbomb.TV – a streaming service that provides 267 hours of content from 41 promotions as of press time – hosted “Break The Barrier 2017” in a similar supercard that included the likes of Colt Cabana, John Silver, Dasher Hatfield, Ophidian and Desean Pratt.

With Bryce Remsburg back and forth between commentary, pre-show duties and officiating, the broadcast had a CHIKARA-esque feel with a logical edginess.

Without much further ado, we’ll assess just how “Broken” this “Barrier” was nowadays.
