A Twisted Fate
– The opening video recapped when Ethan Carter III defeated Eli Drake to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender (and silenced Drake for the rest of 2016), which blended into a sleek “promo clash” as they dipped in separate soundbites from TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards and EC3 that pushed the big Title match. Edwards showed confidence aplenty as he claimed to be “the man” that EC3 used to be and needed to be beat, while EC3 put the belt over more than anything and that after the bell rang, friendship aside, he’d “choke his ass out.”

The Decayed Crusade
– The opening video put over The DCC, as they took out Broken Matt Hardy and gave him amnesia upon a wild backstage brawl. We relived the journey by Matt’s family to jog his memory back, as they tried everything from footage, hypnotism and the Lake Of Reincarnation to no avail. Finally, it took Matt begging “the seven deities” to give him a sign before lightning struck him down and to Reby’s delight, Broken Matt was back. Those few weeks of Ice Cream Social/Engineer/Peach Cobbler Matt were fun, but the return was key to the next step in the war (should we call it that?) against The DCC.

Treat Or Delete
– Nothing screams “Happy Halloween” like a visit to the Broken Hardy Universe. Thank god for this gimmick, because it makes holiday themes fun again. The opening video “documented” a “Hardy All Hallow’s Eve” gathering and a pumpkin patch that Senor Benjamin/Vanguard 1 composed. Broken Matt Hardy had another “pree-muh-neeee-shunnnn” that an outsider would come to the compound and deliver a looming message. Brother Nero also ate magical corn or something to that extent. This was awesome.

An Untamed Wild Animal
– No better way to open the show than with “Broken” Matt Hardy, Brother Nero, Reby at a piano and King Maxel on his own keyboard busting out the “Obsolete” theme song with Señor Benjamin in the background at the Hardy household in Cameron, North Carolina. This was epic in its own way and set up things for later, as Matt had a “premonition” that he saw a member of TNA World Tag Team Champions Decay trespass their household and abduct Maxel and that he and Nero needed to head to the “zone of impact” immediately. Funny.

Ascension To Hell
– The opening video showcased one of TNA’s biggest draws at the moment – TNA King Of The Mountain Champion/TNA X-Division Champion/TNA World Heavyweight Champion Lashley and how he managed to get his way to uber-gold glory. It questioned what his next move would be, a smart way to look at things.

Destination X 2016
– Say what you want, but “The Final Deletion” was one of the more unique storylines in TNA history. From its simple yet deep story of a brotherly rivalry mixed with Matt Hardy’s character evolution into darker territory and top-notch cinematic elements, there was a lot to like here. How does one follow-up a “Final Deletion”? The opening video did a solid job, as we saw Jeff Hardy wake up in a bed, as Matt paraded around with a black garbage bag filled with “materialistic remains of Brother Nero” as he stood upon a boat, where one of his drones dropped off a yellow tank top, what Jeff wore before he was deleted. A “Public Deletion” was hyped for later in the show. We saw more of those entertaining thematics.

The Final Deletion
– If TNA has done anything right in years, it has actually been the pseudo-cinematic feud between “Broken” Matt Hardy (derivative of his “Big Money Matt” character) and Jeff Hardy. To this point, Matt and Jeff had clashed several times with Jeff getting wins, but now Matt was eager for “The Final Deletion” and it was to take place from Cameron, North Carolina. We had to know what we were in for when we saw an old man cutting a disclaimer promo in Spanish not to repeat what we’d see. The opening video was actually kind of brilliant, as it showed Matt and Reby planning a “fiesta” for Maxel and Matt needed the event documented. It was epic, as the old guy was also revealed to be Señor Benjamin, Matt’s gardener.

Uncaged Redemption
– The opening video did a decent recap on some of the bigger storylines, like Ethan Carter III stemming back renegade-style to gain revenge on the Matt Hardy Brand, also hyping the TNA World Tag Team Championships match between the Champions, The Wolves and Decay, happening in Monster’s Ball.
