Doing A Solid 

– The opener between Darin Corbin and “Adrenaline” Adrian Matthews was good for what it was, as the relative newcomer took on the feisty redhead. As always, Corbin was gold with the way he played off the crowd and sold the perfect heel facial expressions. On the other hand, Matthews was dry on the mic, but has thankfully improved in the ring. The two kept things interesting throughout, as we saw a pompous Corbin have Matthews beaten with a facebuster, but purposefully lifted his head off the mat to continue the punishment. This was Matthews’ opening to score the upset and that happened a minute later on a small package pin. Corbin got nice heat with the Ginger Snap for retaliation, which then drew out the team of Marcus Malone/Mikey O’Shea to make the save. We liked how it turned out since Matthews got the win and the rub from the company’s ultimate “good guy” team.
